Your Role
The Customer Marketing Manager will play an important role in helping the marketing team in accelerating revenue by increasing cross-sell and upsell leads among customers, creating and developing customer programs, and assisting in product training events.
You will work alongside and support the marketing team and other ccustomer-facing teams to achieve department and company goals while creating a better customer experience and journey.
Your Responsibilities
- Improve and develop customer programs to reduce churn and improve customer retention
- Work with Marketing leadership and key strategic partners including Customer Success to develop and launch cross-sell and up-sell marketing campaigns to drive new pipeline from the existing customer base
- Leverage marketing automation in planning and implementing integrated Marketing and Customer Success campaigns
- Develop a customer lifecycle campaign program and work with marketing operations to implement
- Segment and target customers, owning definition and refinement of key personas and segment-specific marketing strategies
- Work individually and cross-functionally to develop high-quality marketing content targeting the base (blogs, customer guides, etc.)
- Lead customer communication to drive awareness of key company events, product offerings, and webinars
- Assist with measuring, analyzing and optimizing customer email campaigns and engagement programs
- Assist with other marketing/client programs as needed in support of customer loyalty, retention and growth
- Identify client Brand Ambassadors to cultivate relationships along with Customer Success within those accounts to participate in marketing activities
Your Required Education and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on communications, marketing, and business
- Ability to write effective copy is a necessity
- Successful experience in:
- Creating and executing simultaneous marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer sales, engagement, and advocacy
- Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and upsell/cross-sell processes
- Leveraging marketing automation; Hubspot preferred
- Strong preference given to candidates with PE-backed, high-growth SaaS company experience
- Strong preference given to candidates who have foundational, hands-on experience in client marketing
